I'm Phyllis and I'm raising money for my friend Traci who just lost her son, Chase.

I've known Chase since he was a young boy. He was Morgan's first babysitter, with his mom's help. I know him, and yes I meant know, as an adventurous, musical, and talented dude. He even worked with us for a while when we started our business.

Chase died suddenly and Traci is left with questions. There is an investigation but no answers. The only thing I know right now is that Traci wants to bring Chase back home with her. She's in Oregon and he's in California.

Traci is my ride I die. I remember when she was there for me in a somewhat similar situation. She didn't ask my permission. She did what she did and I never forgot it.

This in no way repays her for all the ways she's shown up for folx over the years. I just don't want money to be a reason that she can't bring Chase home or that she can't pay bills because of something so unexpected.

To be clear this is not a funeral fund. This is giving a mom space to breathe while she goes through this. Finances are freedom and she needs to be free to grieve.
