A Warrior's Way stands beside and behind the men and women who fought for our country and are now fighting to find their place in life.
A Warrior's Way is a place where you can
find a bed to safely lay your head
gain strength sharing experiences and struggles
and face life's challenges and celebrate the victories together
A Warrior's Way is a place where you can
get connected with the VA and other Veteran organizations
get support and resources for daily life activities
get assistance with employment and education
A Warrior's Way is a place where you
find that a house can become home
find that friends can become family
and dreams become reality
We set up transitional housing with an interactive program to empower currently or potentially homeless Veterans back on their feet and finally feel that they are home.
The goal is to give the Veterans a safe environment where they can focus on rebuilding their self-esteem while living and helping other Veterans. We assist and encourage Veterans to actively engage in their medical necessities and in seeking employment, or following their educational goals.
Initial Assessment will be performed to include basic life and social needs, determined by their personal short- and long-term goals. Residents during screening will be connected to agencies and community resources that can meet their needs or provide assistance. Quarterly assessment will follow for up to 2 years ending with an exit assessment. We welcome Veterans to reside at the house for 6 months after getting on their feet, to offer some stability amidst all the changes.
