On August 26th, my e-bike was stolen outside of Lafayette Elementary (on Lander & California Ave), where I had it locked at the bike station.

When I came out of work around 1:15pm, the bike was gone. Someone had used bolt cutters to break through my lock—even though it was a heavy-duty, not cheap one. I filed a police report and checked with nearby businesses, but unfortunately, no cameras caught what happened.

I had only owned the bike for about two months, and it was my main source of transportation. Losing it has been really discouraging, especially since it made getting to work and around the city so much easier.

A lot of friends encouraged me to start this GoFundMe to help replace my bike. Asking for help isn’t easy for me, but if you’re able to donate, I’d be so grateful. And if not, no worries at all—just sharing this page means a lot.
