On November 30, 2023, my daughter's (Chelsea) family lives were changed. My son-in-law (Joe) was involved in a single-vehicle collision. Joe was alone traveling home from work when he left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with a tree. Currently, he is in stable condition in a trauma ICU unit in Washington DC. Joe has undergone multiple surgeries and still requires more. He is focused on recovery and getting home to his family, but there is a long road ahead. Joe will require both physical and occupational therapy. Please continue with the prayers and support, it's helping.

We do not know what insurance will be covering or what they will not be covering. My daughter is now without leave from her job, any leave she needs to take from here on out will be unpaid.

Chelsea and Joe's family are making the trip to the hospital as often as possible, while we take care of their two young boys (3 years and 5 months).
