To our generous donors, the Kind Collective team is beyond grateful for the immense support we have received over the past 2 months.
While The Kind Collective aims to support the homeless shelters of London, it is important to recognize the work that many other initiatives and organizations have been doing for those in need for years, and even decades in our local London community.
One example of the continuous dedication and support that London residents have shown the homeless community for years is a registered charity by the name of Keeping Kids Warm. This initiative was started by a lovely and generous woman named Donna Atkinson-Wilson, who reached out to us after finding out about our initiative. Donna has run her registered charity, Keeping Kids Warm, for the past 18 years. In that time, she has knit over 20,000 mittens and scarves for homeless teenagers across London. In addition to knitwear, she provides teens with water, clothing, food, tents, and medical supplies.
In order to further develop ‘Keeping Kids Warm’, we have decided to use our platform to raise $1000.00 to help Donna fund a computer and more yarn. These supplies are essential to running her charity and we are more than happy to work with this heartwarming organization.
We thank all our donors for their generosity and continued support in aid of the homeless community.
