Ally’s ultramarathon fundraiser

On September the 1st 2023, I will be running the famous UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc) 170k which starts and finishes in Chamonix, France. For this mammoth challenge I will be aiming to complete the course within the allocated 46.5 hours and in doing so raise vital funds for The Rege Foundation to support its partner charity, the Ryder-Cheshire international centre (Raphael) in Dehra Dun, Northern India.

Raphael is a not for profit organisation dedicated to the Ryder-Cheshire mission for the relief of suffering without discrimination. At Raphael the focus is on caring for people with leprosy, tuberculosis (TB) multi drug resistant TB (MDR-TB) and physical, intellectual and learning difficulties.

In 1995 I was a volunteer at Raphael and for me it was a life changing experience. I am honoured to be attempting the greatest trail race in the world and for this opportunity to raise money for Raphael and the REGE Foundation.
