I turn to this crowdfunding site in the hopes that people around the world are willing to help a struggling family with their rent. We are looking for $3,000 to help us secure a roof over our heads as we continue to struggle through these hard times. So let me explain our entire situation. We are a family of 4. Two of whom struggle with work impeding injuries. While two people do have jobs, these jobs are in retail and don’t pay enough to support our needs and rent. The path toward injury insurance is long and difficult, and while my parents do qualify for government support, with the current shutdown no application can be processed. We’ve exhausted all options towards handling the rent, but we’ve hit our limit for assistance given our income. Our rent issue is also impacted with the rising cost of living including groceries and utilities. So we turn to the world at large seeking out help to keep a roof over our heads, while we work to take care of the other bills and our needs. Any assistance is welcomed. This can be in the form of sharing our story with friends and family or donating even a dollar toward our needs.

During these hard times when so many are being pushed to their limits, I turn to the global community, to my friends, and family to ask for help.
