My name is Deborah McArthur I have set up this go fund me page to help support my friend and College Kirsty Reynolds in the fight to free her son.

Story:

Owen Haggerty, 22 Royal Navy sailor. has been wrongfully imprisoned in Bahrain. He is facing a 3 month sentence for trying to split up a brawl outside a bar. Owen was only trying to do the right thing and there is cctv footage of this that wasn’t allowed in court. We believe Owen is being unjustly detained, His rights have been violated. He has been held for 5 weeks already and been given a further 3 months his family is distraught. The only way he will get out early is if he hands over £50,000 in compensation.

This GoFundMe campaign is to raise funds for legal fees, advocacy efforts, and support for Owen’s family as they fight for his freedom. We need your help to ensure Owen receives the justice he deserves.
