Rest in Peace, Jo - Helping Bill Moving Forward

Donation protected
3/27/22 - Early Friday morning, March 25, Jo passed away at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She and Bill were together 22 years.

Bill was cared for by Jo this past fall and winter as he battled a serious case of COPD and COVID. Now alone, Bill battles the grief of losing his partner.

"Everywhere I look, she's right there," Bill said to me on the phone yesterday as he looked around their trailer.

With all that is on Bill's heart and mind, we're hoping to remove (or at least lessen) finances as one of his concerns. Anything you can chip in goes a long way to help with expenses associated with Jo's memorial service and with Bill's adjustment to life now that it's just him, their dogs, Newt and Scout, and their donkey, Gus.

Thanks for watching and caring.

We'll be sure to get back down to see Bill in the not-too-distant future.

Update 10/18/21: When we arrived for the taping of Bill's 4th video over the weekend, we discovered Bill was seriously ill.

He had been for over a week, unable to eat and difficulty breathing. Yet he continued to resist going to the hospital, hoping his symptoms would improve on their own. But on Day 2 of our visit, he relented--and not a day too soon. Nurses told him he probably wouldn't have made it much longer, as Bill was diagnosed with advanced cases of COPD and COVID-19.

He'll remain in a hospital in Fort Smith for several days--perhaps weeks, he said. This leaves Jo at home to care for the dogs, Gus the donkey, house, and bills.

All money donated goes directly to Bill and Jo.

Every dollar helps.

Views and comments have never slowed down, as people around the world get a kick out of this feller from the U.S.

Since video #1, people have asked for a way to send a few bucks to help with the basics. Suddenly, this GoFundMe now has additional urgency.

Thank you for your kindness and interest. Bill and Jo sincerely appreciate every comments and donation they receive.
