Tipperary Olympic Handball Club Community Fundraising Appeal

On behalf of the Committee of Tipperary Olympic Handball Club, we are proud to introduce a new and exciting sporting opportunity for young people and families across Tipperary and the surrounding parishes.

Tipperary Olympic Handball Club has been established to promote and develop the fast-growing sport of Olympic handball in our community.

Our mission is simple. We aim to provide an inclusive, welcoming and supportive environment where children and young people of all abilities can learn, grow and thrive through sport.

We currently cater for boys and girls from U6 to U18, with plans to launch our adult club in the very near future. Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate, regardless of background or ability. In the coming months, we aim to introduce wheelchair handball, walking Olympic handball for older members of our community, and to become actively involved with special needs groups and the Special Olympics movement. We aim to facilitate coaching and referee courses in Transition year classes through Tipperary sports partnership.

As a new club, we are seeking the support of our community to help us build strong foundations. All funds raised will go directly towards:

Player training and coaching development

Essential equipment and gear

Club development programmes

Facility hire and the development of future training facilities

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in helping us create opportunities for children, adults and families throughout Tipperary.

We believe sport has the power to build confidence, friendships and lifelong skills. With your support, we can ensure Olympic handball becomes an accessible and thriving sport in our county.

Thank you for supporting Tipperary Olympic Handball Club and helping us build something special for our community.
