WHAT IS TIP JAR 360?
Tip Jar 360 is a digital tip jar... it started with a company in Northwest Ohio, Miller Diversified. As part of the company's 100 year celebration, Miller Diversified decided back in January to perform 100 acts of kindness. In this current crisis, the Miller team launched an initiative they called Tip Jar 419 (Toledo's area code), with the hope that people in other area codes would want to use the same idea in their own area.
The creator of the Tip Jar initiative, Michael Dean, has decided to branch out of the 419 area code and launch a digital tip jar for a family favorite in Washington, Market Chef. Michael's connection with Market Chef is longstanding, and he hopes this tip jar will serve the purpose of helping Market Chef's staff members during this difficult time.
WHO RECEIVES FUNDS FROM THE TIP JAR?
The funds will go directly to the tipped employees of Market Chef. These individuals and their families are in a time of great need, and we have the power to make a difference. We've set a fundraising goal (which we hope to reach or exceed!), but we will be distributing funds to our recipients regardless of whether or not we hit our goal.
HOW CAN I HELP?
You can help in two ways:
1.) Leave a tip in the tip jar! No amount is too small.
2.) Share this GoFundMe page on your social channels to help us reach our goal.
3.) Please consider leaving an encouraging note to the restaurant staff in the comments.
