Tip Your Bartenders - Support for Adams Street
Spende geschützt
Adams Street is a community. It’s where we live, work, hang out, play, celebrate, commiserate and just get together to do Toledo stuff. From meetings to engagements, baby showers to weddings, birthdays to divorce parties to requiems, for many of us, our lives have revolved around this little community. And the bars, bartenders, and staff of Adams Street businesses have been there to support every step of the way. They’ve supported our community through tragedies like the Wachter Apartments fire, helped countless folks raise travel funds to pursue their dreams out of town, pitched in to cover expenses in emergencies, and supported countless nonprofits with fundraisers, meeting and event space, in-kind donations and so much more. Adams Street has made my life in this city and this community richer, more vibrant, more connected, and more supported. I know I’m not alone. I’m this unprecedented time, it’s time to pay back to those who have supported us for so many years. As St. Patrick’s Day passed this week with a whimper, our friends in service count on that long day of hard work for income. Cancelling that event alone hurts, much less unforeseen weeks without work, without tips, without the community and friends they love. I hope you will join me in raising funds to support our brothers and sisters through this strange and difficult time. All proceeds will be split evenly among the bars of Adams Street with a portion also going to retail shops that have supported our community. If you can find it in your heart and wallet to donate even a typical Friday Happy Hour tab, we can make a small impact to say “thank you” back to our friends. Thank you in advance for your support. Cheers!
