The Tiny Lives Trust is a registered charity that helps to care for premature and sick newborn babies, their mothers and families in the Special Care Baby Unit of the Newcastle Neonatal Service based in Ward 35 of the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The Neonatal Unit (also known as the Special Care Baby Unit) is the Regional Centre of Excellence and provides the care for all preterm and sick newborn babies, and also cares for babies who require surgery, cardiac input or respiratory support.
