Tiny Baby, Big Fight: Support Steph

Hello, dear friends and family,

I want to take a moment to share the incredible journey my sister-in-law, Steph, has been on over the last two years. After along journey with IVF, she never lost hope. Then, in a beautiful twist of fate, she was blessed with the miracle of pregnancy—something she had always dreamed of.

Throughout her pregnancy, she embraced every moment with joy and gratitude, even through the ups and downs. Everything was progressing well, with each check-up bringing reassurance that both she and the baby were doing great. But during a recent ultrasound, doctors discovered an umbilical complication, and in an instant, everything changed. Steph was admitted to the Maternal Ward for around-the-clock monitoring, where she was told she would need to stay for at least seven weeks.

Then, after just one week, their sweet baby went into distress. The doctors acted swiftly, and at just 28 weeks, their tiny fighter was brought into the world—measuring 13 inches long and weighing only 1 lb 11.9 ounces. Despite the early arrival, both mom and baby showed incredible strength. But their journey is far from over. Their little one will need to remain in the NICU until at least the end of May, and while they are holding onto hope, the road ahead will be filled with challenges.

As you can imagine, this situation brings not just emotional stress, but financial burdens as well. I am starting this GoFundMe to help ease some of that weight so they can focus on what truly matters—being there for their baby every step of the way.
