The woods at Tintern, Co. Wexford are a haven for flora and fauna and they also contain a network of scenic walking trails, maintained by the Tintern Trails Development Committee. These trails enable you to not only enjoy beautiful views of Tintern Abbey but they also take you on a voyage of discovery through an old, mature woodland where nature’s bounty is at its best. There is something for everyone to enjoy, whether it's enjoying the wild garlic and bluebells in the spring, the cooling forest foliage in the summer, immersing yourself in the breath-taking colours of autumn or taking a warming brisk walk in the winter. Ensuring the trails are maintained to an appropriate standard requires constant work and this page is to help with the ongoing costs associated with this maintenance work.
