TINATIN FOUNDATION

De Tinatin Foundation is in nov. 2024 opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan Tinatin Turdziladze uit Ambrolauri Georgië. Tinatin overleed op 34-jarige leeftijd aan de gevolgen van kanker. Tinatin heeft in haar leven veel liefde, kleur en lichtheid gegeven. Ze was creatief, mooi van binnen en buiten, met oog voor de noden van de mensen (en dieren) om haar heen en met een hart voor kunst en cultuur, onderwijs en gezondheidszorg.

Wij, Engelien Veerbeek en Marjan Hengeveld, hebben een lange geschiedenis en verbondenheid met Tinatin, haar familie en met Georgië. Met hulp van o.a. Sandra Roelofs, voormalig first-lady van Georgië, is het gelukt diverse projecten te steunen, o.a. kleinschalige projecten t.b.v. revalidatie van kinderen in Tbilisi, Batumi en Zugdidi.

Doelstelling

De Tinatin Foundation zal, met hulp van lokale vrijwilligers en professionals, kleinschalige doelen steunen, op het gebied van gezondheid, onderwijs en cultuur in Ambrolauri, zoals:

De gelden zullen goed worden besteed: er zijn directe lijntjes met de betrokkenen in Ambrolauri, o.a. met Gvantsa Turdziladze, de zus van Tinatatin (werkzaam bij de locale overheid in Ambrolauri).

Kleinschalig

Wij geloven in kleinschaligheid. Met beperkte middelen kan het leven een stuk aangenamer worden, wanneer de juiste hulp wordt geboden of een hulpmiddel wordt verstrekt. Streven naar zelfstandigheid, gelijkwaardigheid en welbevinden zijn hierbij leidend.

Particulier fonds

De giften worden aan particulieren verstrekt. I.v.m. nieuwe 'buitenlands agenten' wetgeving in Georgië (m.b.t. financiering aan Georgische organisaties vanuit het buitenland) is het niet verstandig om een organisatie met een rechtsvorm op te richten, maar worden de giften of middelen direct geschonken aan de individuele hulpvrager. De Tinatin Foundation heeft geen ANBI-status. U kunt als donateur uiteraard een verantwoording van de gift opvragen.

TINATIN FOUNDATION

The Tinatin Foundation was established in November 2024 in memory of Tinatin Turdziladze from Ambrolauri Georgia. Tinatin died at the age of 34 from cancer. Tinatin gave a lot of love, color and light in her life. She was creative, beautiful inside and out, with an eye for the needs of the people (and animals) around her and with a heart for art and culture, education and healthcare.

We, Engelien Veerbeek and Marjan Hengeveld, have a long history and connection with Tinatin, her family and with Georgia. With the help of Sandra Roelofs, former first lady of Georgia, we have managed to support various projects, including small-scale projects for the rehabilitation of children.

Objective

The Tinatin Foundation will, with the help of local volunteers and professionals, support small-scale goals in the areas of health, education and culture in Ambrolauri, such as:

The funds will be spent wisely: there are direct lines with those involved in Ambrolauri, including Gvantsa Turdziladze, Tinatatin's sister (who works for the local government in Ambrolauri).

Small-scale

We believe in small-scale. With limited resources, life can become a lot more pleasant when the right help is offered or an aid is provided. Striving for independence, equality and well-being are leading in this project.

Private fund

The donations are provided to private individuals. In connection with new 'foreign agents' legislation in Georgia (regarding financing of Georgian organisations from abroad) it is not advisable to establish an organisation with a legal form, but the gifts or resources are donated directly to the person seeking help. The Tinatin Foundation does not have ANBI status. As a donor you can of course request an accountability of the gift.
