My name is Kara Oehler and I am raising funds on behalf of Tina Lindgren and her young family. I met Tina and her family through volleyball this club season and was immediately inspired by Tina’s dedication to supporting her children pursuing their passions while holding multiple jobs and managing all household responsibilities for three children. Her daughter, Zaida, is a fierce girl with the kindest heart, who brings so much joy to those who know her.

On Sunday evening, Tina’s ex-husband and Zaida’s father, Clifton, tragically passed away, leaving behind his loved ones. In the wake of this unexpected and heartbreaking situation, I am calling upon our community to support Tina as she navigates herself and her children through this incredibly challenging time. It can be difficult to ask for help, but is necessary as Tina continues to be away from work to make arrangements and to continue to care for her children as they begin to process and heal.
