Hi! We are the Timmy Global Health chapter at UCLA, affiliated with the international non-profit Timmy Global Health. We provide service opportunities for students of all majors in the local LA area as well as an opportunity for an international service trip. This past summer we partnered with Tierra Nueva, a local hospital in Quito, Ecuador where we set up health clinics in various rural communities. We were joined by four physicians, one pharmacist, and two nurses. We were able to see over 450 patients across 5 days in 5 different communities! This year, we are so excited to be partnering with Banelino in the Dominican Republic. Since the trip is entirely paid for out of pocket, donations make this trip possible and financially accessible for members of our club. The more donations we receive, the more patients we can treat. Everything helps and is thoroughly appreciated!
