Becoming a mother changed my life in ways I never imagined.
Like many families today, we’ve come face to face with a difficult reality: the cost of living keeps rising, and many households work long hours just to cover basic expenses. In the process, the most valuable thing often gets sacrificed: time with family.
I am the mother of a young son, Dylan. These early years of his life are incredibly important, and like many parents, we constantly think about how to balance providing financially while still being present for the moments that matter most.
At the moment, our household relies primarily on my partner’s income. He works hard to support our family, but like many families today, a single income doesn’t always comfortably cover all the essential expenses such as housing, groceries, transportation, and healthcare.
As a family, we’ve been doing our best to find a path that allows us to stay financially responsible while also protecting these early years of our son’s life.
For my part, I have been working on building a direct sales business from home, slowly developing a client base that I hope will grow into a stable source of income in the near future. Building something like this takes time, consistency, and patience.
If I were to take a traditional job outside the home right now, much of what I would earn would go toward transportation, childcare, and other work-related expenses. In the end, the financial gain would be minimal, but the time lost with my son during these irreplaceable early years would be something I can never get back.
Because of this, we decided as a family to take a leap of faith and ask for help during this transition.
This campaign is meant to help cover basic living expenses for a limited time while I continue growing my business and working toward financial stability from home.
It’s not about avoiding work — I dedicate time every day to building my business and creating a path that allows me to contribute financially while still being present for my son.
Any support, no matter the amount, would help give our family something that is becoming increasingly rare today: time, presence, and the chance to build a better future together.
