Time with kids and widows

Hello everyone,
My name is Tina(Efiba) and a medical doctor from Ghana. I am helping my colleague and friend, Dr. Joel Afi-Duah raise funds for a yearly program "Time with the kids and widows". Dr.Joel has dedicated his life to serving the health needs of people in Busunya community (a small town in the Nkoranza North District, Ghana) as a medical doctor. Apart from attending to their health needs through his service at the Abusua Community Center, Joel and his team frequently organize social development services to improve the livelihood of people in the community.
"Time with kids and widows" is geared at reaching out to the most vulnerable and the underprivileged in the community. The program will be held on January, 1st, 2021. The goal is to reach about 200 kids as well as 50 widows and elderly women in the Busunya community by providing them with food, drinks, toys for the kids, and covid-19 care packages (hand sanitizers and masks) for the festive season. This year's program will also be used as an opportunity to register the participants for regular health check-ups at the Community Clinic.
Although it has been a difficult year with the pandemic and its attendant issues, we firmly believe we can spread love in our own small way by reaching out to these vulnerable people in our community.
