Time to give back to our Heroes

Help our Hero’s 

I think I can speak on behalf of everyone when I say these last few weeks have been absolutely devastating for so many with the fires that have ripped through properties , homes, schools and businesses not only in the Mid North Coast but across NSW.

I cannot bring myself to even begin to think of the damage that the fires have caused but one thing I can think about is how much worse it could have been/can be if it weren’t for our Fire Fighters - our hero’s. People say “not all hero’s where capes” and this is exactly right. Our hero’s are the ones we are heavily relying on to save our lives and everything in them. Our fire fighters are working around the clock and to think a huge portion of them are doing it on a voluntarily basis blows my mind.

With this being said I think we should all be digging deep to help support the NSW Rural Fire Service which will directly help the volunteers and the equipment needed for such catastrophic situations. 

Any donation is better than nothing so don’t donate more than you can afford. All of it helps! 

I myself am personally from Wingham however now residing in Newcastle so I couldn’t choose just one Fire Brigade Service because I personally think they all deserve help.
