Time to fight like a girl Megan Brooke!!!

Megan Hunter-Wright is my beautiful best friend of 22 years. To describe her simply: a radiant smile, a precious heart, and an infectious personality that can brighten even the darkest days!!

Megan is a single mother of two great kids, Devan (13), and Emory (9). They are her entire world. When she isn’t working, she’s spending time with them.

Megan is a full time hairstylist of 18 years with many loyal clients and she absolutely loves what she does. She’s been an impact on many lives simply by being a good listener and even a shoulder to cry on during certain cut/colors and trims…. Unfortunately Megan’s career, though a blessing to her, comes with a few downfalls… no health insurance, no sick leave, and when she can’t work, she doesn’t get paid.

Megan’s life has recently been impacted by Grade 3 Invasive Carcinoma of the breast. April 22, 2022 she underwent a single mastectomy and will be following up with an oncologist to see what treatment and procedures her future might hold.
