Time, love & healing for Julie– In Memory of sweet Henry

Donation protected
On June 1st, my dear friend Julie experienced the unimaginable, the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her beloved son, Henry..
As she begins to navigate this devastating grief, we want to surround her with love and ease some of the overwhelming burdens that come with such a tragedy. The last thing she should have to worry about right now is work or financial strain.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help give her the gift of time - time to rest, to mourn, to be a mother to her other children, and to begin putting the pieces back together..
If you can’t give financially, please consider share!!

Here are a few words from Julie:

The most beautiful boy who ever lived
I'm not sure how to put this into words. The last 55 or so hours have been a blur of "mhm"s and sobs and whispered "I love you and I miss you so much and I'm so sorry"
On June 1st at 2 am with Mike and I snuggled up beside him singing one last "you are my sunshine" through our tears, our sweet Henry took his last breath.
To say that this isn't fair is an understatement. This little boy loved life. He loved bunnies and puddles and mud and sunsets and snow and stars and hugs and nose kisses. He loved his family whether they were blood or not. And boy did we love him. He loved his dog like I've never seen before. He loved to sing especially in the car. He loved long drives and ice cream stops.
He held so many hearts and hands in his tiny little hand. He brought smiles wherever he went with friends, family and strangers alike. I keep thinking about out Costco cashier and how this will break her heart.
Henry fought hard. He was fighting battles inside his little body for a long time but he was tired. He needed rest. He never showed it. I would nap with him all day if it meant he could have the rest he needed. If it meant that rest was enough to keep him.
I'm not sure how and where to go from here. How to do daily things I've been doing with him for the last 3 years without his constant reminder to slow down, to hold hands, to look at the mountains, to play.
Henry gave us the best 3 years of our lives and we can't thank him enough for that, for being the most beautiful ray of sunshine even on the darkest days. He'll always shine the brightest.
