On October 5th, 2018, I lost my beautiful mother to Ovarian Cancer. To be honest, there was a lot more that she was going through which I believed played a big role in her passing.

My mom was a very generous woman, although she didn’t have much, she always gave from her heart. When I was in elementary, I remember my mom would always give to my friends who didn’t have much. Whether it was a quarter or fifty cents, she gave what she had at the time. That’s something that stuck with me. I’ve wanted to honor my mom and continue her generosity and didn’t have any ideas of how to do that until this came to mind.

¿Tienes Hambre? Meal Services is dedicated to my mom as a way to honor her and what she did for many. This question, ¿Tienes Hambre? was something she always asked when I had friends over. The first thing she would do is greet them and ask them if they were hungry. I am starting this nonprofit to help others receive nutritious & good quality meals.

My vision is to help bridge the gap of hunger for children and families. No person should be denied a meal and no family should go without eating. I hope I can bring honor to my mom with this nonprofit and feed thousands of children and families.
