Ticehurst community vaccine centre

Hardik Desai and the Ticehurst village pharmacy have done an excellent job getting our COVID vaccination centre up and running. Tireless hours of hard work have been put in from them, and the huge team of volunteers, to allow the centre to run effectively for the foreseeable future.
The total cost of converting the village hall into a vaccination centre has come to around £10,000 pounds and there are no clear means of recouping any of the money back from Government grants etc.
The majority of the money has been put forward by our Parish Council, however creating a vaccination centre that is both safe, and up to scratch, has cost more than anybody first thought and the amount of money that was earmarked to do so wasn't enough. As a result the Parish have had to use money that was meant to fund other community projects, such as an improved skate park.
This GoFund me page aims to try to help raise money for the community and fund projects within it that have taken a back seat due to the pandemic.
All money raised will go directly back into the community and associated charities within it. Many people have stepped up and donated so much time and effort, lets try and show our appreciation by all coming together and raising money for a great cause that will benefit us all!
