Hey friends — it’s Flavia.

Every year on my birthday (June 24 ♋️✨), I try to give back in a way that feels personal, powerful, and full of purpose. 

This year I created the Tia Celcy Joy Fund to honor my late aunt, Celcy Hall — a retired teacher who loved children, believed in celebration, and never missed a chance to say thank you. She taught with heart, lived generously, and made joy a daily practice.

After her passing, I made myself a promise: to carry on her legacy by creating joyful, healing, and empowering experiences for Black children in underserved communities around the world.

So far, we’ve:

• ️ Hosted an art workshop for Projeto Axé in Salvador, Brazil (2023)
  

• Thrown a celebration that fed over 500 children in Bengo, Angola with Zuzu for Africa (2025)
  

Now, I’m asking for $1,200 to keep the magic going.

This fund will support future experiences under the Tia Celcy Joy Fund — from creative workshops and community meals to sleep kits, art supplies, and play-centered programs.

Meu presente de aniversário? Espalhar alegria pra crianças negras em comunidades periféricas ao redor do mundo. Vamos juntos?

Oi, pessoal — aqui é a Flavia.

Junho é meu mês de aniversário, e todo ano eu tento transformar essa data em algo com propósito. Este ano, mais uma vez, quero levar alegria, brincadeira e cuidado a crianças que precisam.

Criei o Fundo Festa da Tia Celcy em homenagem à minha tia, Celcy Pereira Hall — uma professora apaixonada por ensinar, celebrar e agradecer. Depois que ela partiu, me comprometi a continuar seu legado criando experiências de alegria e afeto para crianças negras em comunidades de baixa renda pelo mundo.

Já realizamos:

• ️ Oficina de desenho em Salvador (2023)
  

• Festa com refeição para mais de 500 crianças em Angola (2025)
  

Agora quero levantar $1.200 dólares (cerca de R$6.500) pra fazer ainda mais.
