Thrift Store for the poor
Donation protected
You might be wondering why would we build a thrift store when we already have Goodwill, salvation Army and Value world. And I say it’s because of those 3 why we’re doing what we’re doing now. I thrift a lot for “Tour For The Poor” and I can see they’re cheating our people. The last coat run I did in Toledo Ohio I spent over $700 dollars for 60+ Jackets. Remind you that these clothes were donated to them and they charge damn near full price like it’s brand new. I got into an argument with one manager because they wanted $45 for a windbreaker that was USED! I have a Calvin Klein coat that costed me $45 brand new. It makes no sense. I left and went to a different one and seen a homeless couple sad because they couldn’t afford the coats they wanted and I felt bad so I brought it for them. Detroit winters are a freezing hell and it makes no sense that the poor can’t even afford these clothes. I found a way to sell the clothes cheap and pay employee’s $25 dollars an hour. (DON’T POCKET THE MONEY) I have the land to build on already we just need the wood. It will be built on a street on the east side of Detroit named Bradford and Manning. It will be Solar power to avoid bills so we won’t have a reason to cut into no ones check. Again, none of the clothes will cost more than $10! We have to make sure people can afford these clothes and we can go to war with the billionaires that act like the care. This will give me an opportunity to employ people from my neighborhood and really turn things around in Detroit for a lot of people. I know this is a lot of money I’m asking for but it’s gonna help a lot of people and show them that YOU can do this too. We might be from the hood but we aren’t who they say we’re. We’re leaders, teachers and healers. We’ve just been drowned out by the bad but it’s our time to shine! Thank you to everyone that donates money, labor or time to make this happen. Let’s change the world y’all. No more profit over people, all power to the people. Love y’all.
