Help a Northern independent classical collective beat the major labels to Christmas #1 for Tod Food Bank!

We are Three Wise Monkeys, a UK music project stepping out of the studio this winter to fund the frontline fight against food poverty.

While our day jobs involve recording for classicfm and playing at the BBC Proms, we also work extensively in the pop industry—having backed artists like Sting, Paul McCartney, and the Pet Shop Boys, and performed at the BRITs, Eurovision, and Strictly.

This winter, we are stepping out of the studio to fund the frontline fight against food poverty right here at home.

This December, thousands of families will face the devastating choice between heating their homes and putting food on the table. We have recorded a stunning, high-calibre piece of classical/indie artwork reflecting on winter loss, with nods to our gritstone towers and Stoodley Pike. It officially launches for pre-order on 1st November, with 100% of all digital download profits going directly to Tod Food Bank.

Tod Food Bank runs a radical, unconditional model: 80 incredible volunteers providing walk-in food support and a warm community cafe with absolutely no paperwork, means-testing, or judgment. It is a true blueprint for emergency aid.

Why we are fundraising today:We don't have a major label backing us to pay for marketing costs, which means our budget is completely zero. Major labels spend millions buying the charts—we are fighting back entirely with grassroots goodwill.

Because we are doing this completely independently, any pound given to this fund will help level things up a little bit against the corporate music machines.

The First £150: Will fully fund our physical street campaign, covering the print and production of high-impact flyers and posters to mobilise local residents.

Every Pound Extra: Will go directly into targeted online advertising across Instagram and Facebook to push our campaign videos (including our chaotic call-outs to Taylor Swift, Sam Fender, and Chris Martin!) to a massive nationwide audience.
