Three Peaks Challenge for Kai❤️

Hi Everyone,

We, as a group, have decided to complete the Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours to raise money for a very special young man, whose story has touched the heart of our community.

Kai, who is aged 14 has Aplastic Anaemia, MDS and Myasthenia gravis. He is currently awaiting a bone marrow transplant but as yet a match hasn’t been found.

For those who don’t know, Aplastic Anaemia is a serious condition affecting the blood, where the bone marrow and stem cells do not produce enough blood cells. MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndromes) is a type of rare blood cancer where you don’t have enough healthy blood cells, and Myasthenia Gravis is a rare long term condition that causes muscle weakness.

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Morgan and Sian (Kai’s parents) and their family to ease any financial worries and help with Kai’s needs.

We will be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, a total of over 20+ miles, within 24hrs. We are currently in training and will be completing the challenge on the weekend commencing the 29th of April. This challenge won’t compare to the difficulties and heartache that Kai and his family have had to face, and continue to face, but we do however hope that this can in some way help the family at a very difficult time.

We are sending Kai and his family all our love, and hope we can make Kai proud.
