Forward Leeds Family Plus fundraiser
Our team of 10 from Forward Leeds are taking the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Family Plus.
Forward Leeds are the city's alcohol and drug service. Our Family Plus team work with the children of people in treatment with us.
Our Family Plus service is about getting families early help. The Family Plus worker will work with the family to provide a rounded package of support. The team ensure the best possible outcomes for the children as well as supporting parent through their recovery journey.
One of the elements of the Family Plus service is running groups and activities for families to spend positive time together. We are fundraising to provide money for Family Plus to provide these activities for the whole family.
On the 5 September, 2020 our team of 10 will be undertaking the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles and includes 1585m of climbs.
We will be scaling the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, ideally in under 12 hours.
