My name is Loveleen Ayebare. I am fundraising for Genuine Happiness International Foundation–Uganda Chapter, a movement born from heartbreak and hope.

After COVID-19, our communities in Pallisa District, Uganda faced a quiet crisis. Schools closed. Dreams paused. Many young girls became pregnant during the lockdown, and when the doors reopened, they did not return. Others were pushed into early marriages. Unemployment deepened. Poverty tightened its grip.

GHIF–Uganda Chapter was born to respond—not with pity, but with purpose.

We offer vocational training and narrative justice to youth who were left behind. Tailoring, hairdressing, building construction, carpentry, storytelling, and more—each skill a step toward dignity. Each workshop a space to heal, to learn, and to begin again.

This fundraiser is not just about tools or training. It’s about restoring what was lost. It’s about giving young people the chance to rewrite their stories—not as statistics, but as leaders.
