“Though she be but LITTLE, she is FIERCE” #Emmie

My name is Cathy (Baldwin) Mccarthy. I feel led to create this Gofundme page for my nephew, Josh Baldwin and his wife, my niece, Kaitlin! The past week has been such a rollercoaster of emotional news for them ! In this week,  They have gone from expecting twins , to 3 lives hanging in the balance, to losing one twin, to trying to save 2 lives, to having the other twin arrive at almost 24 weeks while mommy is fighting... most of this going on while Josh has to be on the “outside” because of this Corona, he finally got to go in and be by Kaitlin’s side for the birth of Emersyn Blaike Baldwin. Now, by the Grace of God, Kaitlin has been discharged for home and  Baby Emmie is being such a little fighter! Josh and Kaitlin live in Magnolia, Arkansas and Emmie is in the NICU in Little Rock.  As you can guess , her stay in the NICU will be a long one. Sweet baby girl needs the extra care to keep getting stronger. The visitation will be tough on them as with obstacles such as Corona, travel, meals, stay, missing work, and more I’m sure! I believe in my God who is bigger than all they have faced and all they will face! He has already blessed them in immeasurable ways! If you feel it in your heart and feel led to help , We are grateful! If thoughts , prayers, and good wishes are your way of helping, We are grateful! Let’s help them feel a little relief from the grief and worries so they may experience the joy in watching Emmie fight to be home with them! Many prayers have been answered and many more to be lifted up! Thank you ! I’ve always believed that some of our greatest blessings can be the little things.... in this case , He is showing them a blessing that is under 2 lbs!
