Thorngumbald Scarecrow Trail 2025

Thank you so much for supporting Thorngumbald Preschool at the annual Thorngumbald Scarecrow Trail!

The preschool is a charity based, locally run preschool offering high quality and personal early years education. Being independent with limited funding, they rely heavily on fundraising to enrich the children's learning experience, and the scarecrow trail is one of their biggest sources of income, so any donation is hugely appreciated.

Information about the weekend

The scarecrows can be seen

Saturday 23rd August 10am - Sunday 24th August 2025 4pm

The Fair is on at the Village Hall on

Saturday 23rd 10am-3pm.

You can expect to see stalls there from various local small businesses (including Snack Pot who are providing bacon butties in the morning and burgers and chips in the afternoon!)

There will be also be some stalls run by the preschool team.

You can purchase your maps for £1 from Londis and Co-op from Thursday onwards, or from the Village Hall during the fair on the Saturday.

Voting slips are on the corner of the map, and can be submitted to one of our voting boxes at the same 3 locations mentioned above.

Voting will close 4pm Monday 25th August 2025.

The winner will be notified personally on Tuesday 25th and then displayed on the Thorngumbald Scarecrow Trail Facebook page.
