On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, my parents lost their home in a devastating fire. They built this house themselves, without the help of a contractor. Every board, nail, wall, etc., was placed by my parents or very close friends and family. This was my childhood home. Over the years, it became the home where my siblings and I gathered with my parents for holidays and celebrations. There were so many good memories had here: engagements, pregnancy announcements, graduations—the list goes on. Now they are faced with the task of starting over. Any support you can provide will go toward immediate needs such as lodging and clothing and eventually clean up and rebuilding. We are so thankful there were no injuries.
