This October, I'm travelling to Ghana with CrossCause Ireland to visit the Xorladi Project, a group home for children who have been abandoned due to disability or loss. The goal is to assess their needs with a view to bringing Irish volunteers there in 2026 to support the project.

While I’m there, I’ll also deliver a month’s supply of food to 47 people in a local leper community.

To do this, I need to raise €1,000.

Here’s the impact your support can make:

€5 = feeds one person for a week

€21 = feeds one person for a month

€100 = feeds 20 people for a week

€1,000 = feeds all 47 people for the month

Crosscause began in 1998 with volunteers aiding special needs orphans in Romania. With our gained experience, we've expanded into Eastern Europe and West Africa. Our latest initiative, the Xorladi Project in Ghana, provides a home for abandoned children. We've already rescued 22 children, half with special needs, and planning to reach full capacity of 45 children next year.
