The City of Gresham has recognized this beautiful red oak tree on SE Salquist Road as a significant tree. A significant tree is a landmark or heritage tree, one that has grown to its fullest size and best expresses the beauty of its kind. This tree is registered in a list of significant trees in Gresham*. The owner of the property where it is located says his homeowner’s insurance company will cancel his policy unless the dead limbs are trimmed by July 17. The owner is on a fixed income and can’t afford to pay for the trimming. Please help us pay for an arborist’s services to properly trim the tree.
