My parents are some of the most caring, selfless people I know—and right now, they really need help.

Over the past while, they’ve been hit with one challenge after another. They lost their home in Port Alberni and moved out to Nitinaht, hoping for a fresh start. But with my dad’s health declining, they’ve now been told they need to move back to Port Alberni to be closer to his doctor and medical care.

On top of everything, their vehicle—their only way to get around—broke down on the Nitinaht road. While it was there, the catalytic converter was stolen, and now the alternator and battery also need to be replaced. The repair costs have become overwhelming.

Right now, they don’t even have a place of their own and are staying with my sister and her boyfriend while trying to figure everything out.

This vehicle isn’t just a car—it’s their lifeline. It’s how they’ll get to medical appointments, find stable housing, and start rebuilding.
