“This is the story of a simple family from Gaza whose lives were shattered, but whose hope still survives.”

Before the war, we lived humble lives. Some of us had finished university and were starting careers. Others were still in school, dreaming of graduating and building a better future. Some of us worked with our hands, earning a living with dignity. We weren’t wealthy, but we were safe, hopeful, and together.

But then the war changed everything.

We lost our home. We lost our jobs. Some of us lost our schools. Others lost their opportunity to take the Tawjihi (high school exams) that decide their future. Many of us lost loved ones. One of us is injured. All of us are traumatized.

We lived in a tent, but it burned down. Now we have nothing.

We are exhausted – not just from fear, but from hunger, thirst, and darkness. There is no clean water. No sanitation. No electricity. No health care. No transportation. No medicine. No safety. There is simply nothing.

Every day, we stand in long lines for food that may never come. We wait for water that is barely clean enough to drink. We wait for anything that gives us a sense of life again.

We are not just statistics. We are a family – parents, children, students, workers, dreamers. We are like you.

This campaign was created by a family member living outside Gaza, on our behalf, to help us survive this unimaginable time. The funds raised will be used to provide us with:

• Food and clean water

• Medication and basic health needs

• Shelter and clothing

• A small chance to start again
