Imagine juggling school, homework, and friendships, while also providing essential care for a loved one. Young carers do just that, every single day. They might be cooking, cleaning, administering medication, or offering emotional support, all while navigating the challenges of childhood and adolescence.

These incredible young people face immense pressures, often sacrificing their own needs and opportunities. They deserve our recognition and support.

At Daubeney we have over 25 pupils who are 'Young Carers' for loved ones in their homes. We want to raise money so that we can support them in and out of school with everything they need to be successful. The Daubeney Senior Leadership Team will be doing a 20 mile coastal walk to try to raise money for this group of amazing young people. We are hoping that the money raised can support our Young Carers at Daubeney for years to come.
