Hi, my name is Suede and I understand that life can be difficult, unpredictable and, sometimes, incredibly lonely. I believe that no matter where someone is in life, they deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion and kindness.

That is why we are using The Solo Society as a platform not only to bring people together, but to give back to the community around us.

Our first outreach

On 3rd October, The Solo Society will be joining forces with @fitzy_mkhomeless to provide food and essential items to people experiencing homelessness in Milton Keynes.

We will be serving:

• BBQ jerk wings

• Fried rice

• Mac & cheese

• Coleslaw

We are also collecting essential donations such as blankets and tents to help provide some comfort and practical support.

But this is only the beginning.

£5 could help provide refreshments or essential supplies.

£10 could contribute towards a hot meal.

£25 could help us purchase multiple meals or essential items.

£50 could help us provide a larger contribution towards an outreach session.

Every pound will be used with the intention of directly supporting our community outreach work.

A little transparency

The Solo Society is currently an unregistered community organisation and is working towards developing its charitable structure.

Funds raised through this appeal will be used specifically to support our homeless outreach and community initiatives. We will keep records of donations and expenditure and aim to be transparent about how funds are used.

At this stage, donations are not eligible for Gift Aid.

Sometimes giving back isn’t about changing someone’s entire life.

Sometimes it’s simply giving someone a hot meal.
