100-Mile Epic for Dads Therapy Pool
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lee. Many of you will know the life changing accident which turned my dads life upside down over 6 years ago. It started with an electrocution going up his dominant left arm, to compartment syndrome, to an incurable disease called Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) type 2. He has endured 60+ operations and struggles with the utmost pain every day, not only physically but mentally as he has lost the use of his left arm and hand.
Although Dad has had the most unimaginable 6 years, he still puts everyone else before himself. He has raised over £40,000 for charities close to his heart since his accident and still continues to do so.
I have started this fundraiser for dad to have a therapy pool. This will aid his recovery, supporting his well-being and blood circulation whilst diminishing the pain and stress with the hopes of giving him some respite from this nightmare.
The pool will be fitted in his beloved garden which he loves so much as it is his peaceful escape.
For this cause i will be riding 100 mile on my mountain bike. This will be the furthest i have ever gone on a bike so If you could donate to help i would be very much appreciative.
Thank you so much, Lee.
