Theodore (Ted) Powell Memorial Fund

As many of you know, Theodore (Teddy) Powell has transitioned to be with his Heavenly Father. He was well-loved and respected by many and leaves countless memories. He impacted the lives of others in so many ways that had the pleasure to know and talk to him.
He was a tremendous athlete in his youth playing multiple sports but known to be an exceptional football player for the Hampton Crabbers before moving on to become an All American Football Player at Ferrum College and later recruited by the legendary Woody Hayes at The Ohio State University. He had a short professional football career in the World Football League. After football he focused his intellectual talents in teaching and coaching football in Richmond, VA and Houston, TX.
Later in life, Teddy would have health challenges common to many others that included diabetes. We would like to honor his memory with your financial contribution to the American Diabetes Association.
