Theo the 7 year old who lost his mother
Dear All,
This Go Fund me page is to help 7-year-old Theo, who lost his mother, Shannon Hunt in a terrible car crash on June 17. It was the most shocking news ever member of her family and friends have had to endure.
Shannon's death has devastated the whole family in a way words can't express, and her young child has been badly impacted by her death. He still struggles to sleep over the shocking news of his mother's unexpected death .
Theo was very much a mummy's boy, he loved his mum dearly and depended on her for everything. An only child in the sole care of the mother snatched away so horribly , the tight bond between them has been snapped and broken forever. Everyone is concerned about his emotional well-being and his future generally, though the family is willing to do their best to support him alongside their own life challenges, they are very limited in how well they can preserve his mother's dream for her son. Early this year, she promised her son it would be his best year ever, little did she know it would actually be his last year of seeing her, and therefore his worst year. How ironic life can be!
That mother's child bond vanished the moment she was taken away from him, leaving him for a family who will do their best for him, but have their own challenges to deal with.
It is important to ensure Theo is protected from future lack by guaranteeing him the best possible upbringing , including high quality psychotherapy support in making adjustments to the harsh realities of his new life and the years ahead.
His sound education is important, for example with appropriate personal tutorial support, comfortable safe and happy living environment good and safe living environment until he reaches the age of 21. Theo is an only child and is having to make quick adjustments in coming to terms with the sad reality that he will never see his mother again.
The family is already thinking ahead to the potential challenges lurking in his future, including in his teenage years. He needs to be protected from peer pressure, with full provision made for him in those years, including good summer schools during the holidays, basic accommodation in a good area , with good mentors and role models for him throughout those potentially difficult years.
Responsible professionals have already been put in place to oversee these plans, and support them with legal arrangements planned in advance to ensure its success.
The family would like to proudly see a responsible young man emerge in the future, although the loss of his mother at a very young age is one that will be with him forever.
