The Loss of Ellie

Donation protected
The loss of a child has to be the worst kind of sorrow.  My dear friend and the teacher of my daughter is dealing with just that.  No one should ever have to experience what Megan and her husband have gone through.

On January 19th, Megan Cadenhead was excited to be going to another one of her routine checkups because she was about to get to see her little baby again at the 23 week mark. She was joyful in anticipation as she considered what she might get to see on the ultrasound. The tone quickly changed when her doctor instead told her she couldn't hear a heartbeat. After another check confirmed the missing sound, she was informed that little Ellie had died and that Megan would have to go through childbirth the very next day.

"On January 20, 2018 at 8:39 PM, Eleanor Agnes Cadenhead was delivered. She was 14.3 ounces and 10 inches of pure perfection and my mini me. My mama heart is completely broken. Saying goodbye was so very hard and will be for a long time. I will never understand why this happened. Cameron and I love sweet Ellie more than she will ever know. Please continue to send prayers." - Megan Cadenhead

To anyone reading this, please help out in any way possible. Hopefully, as the Cadenheads attempt to navigate these difficult waters, we can use this go fund me campaign to help them pay for the unforeseen medical bills, funeral costs, and other expenses which they will have to address as a result of this awful loss.
