Helping the Holloway Family
Hurricane Matthew had a profoundly devestating effect on many people in this area. Our good friends, the Holloways were some of the many here that were completely uprooted and wrecked by the storm. We are doing what we can to help this awesome family get back on their feet. Jason and Leah are great friends, bandmates, parents and people in general who are doing all they can to make sure Kellen, their amazing 7-year-old continues to have a normal life and a great Christmas throughout this transition to get their life back on track.
This "GoFundMe" account is for people who cannot attend the Dan Andriano / Deadaires show on December 16th and still wish to donate towards helping this family get through this transition.
ALL the funds raised through this account and at the benefit show on Dec 16th, will go directly to the Holloways to help them with all the financials needs they are currently facing (rebuilding the gutted house, finding reasonable housing in the meantime, helping make sure Kellen has an awesome Christmas, etc.)
The Holloways are awesome and humble people and they will be beyond teary-eyed joyful to recieve the much needed help.
Thanks to fundraising efforts like these, St. Augustine families, businesses and the community is able to get back on their feet.
Thanks for your support!

Here's some words from Jason:
"October 7th, 2016. A day we will never forget. Our home was one of many that flooded that day in Davis Shores, a result of the storm surge that accompanied Hurricane Matthew.
Luckily, we evacuated with our pictures and other memorables. Most everything else however was left behind.
The days after the storm were some of the hardest we've endured. We were faced with the task of throwing many of our belongings away, our furniture was hauled out one piece at a time to the road. Days later, once our remaining belongings were secured, we began tearing out our mold ridden floors, cutting out our walls and assessing other damages to the property.
While those days were tough, we were bouyed by the tremendous outpouring of support. Our friends, our family, neighbors, and complete strangers lent us their time, their tools, their knowledge. They cried with us, they laughed with us, they cooked for us and they listened to us.
We, along with many other families in the area have a long ,hard road ahead of us. That journey is made shorter and easier by the support we enjoy from our community.
Despite the wreckage we all saw and continue to see today, St Augustine has never been more beautiful.
Thank you."
