Support for the Halvorson Family
We are raising funds for the Halvorson family to help with Trent’s medical expenses. Here is his story:
Trent Halvorson experienced a brain bleed on July 31 which required emergency surgery to stop. While in surgery, the doctors discovered unexpected tissue and Trent has now been diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma cancer, which is aggressive and inoperable as it is not a tumor to be removed, but spreads around the brain tissue kind of like mold spreads on bread. Recommended cancer treatments will be started. In addition, we are joining with Trent’s family to pray for miraculous and complete eradication of cancer from Trent’s body and total restoration of his brain functions. We invite you to join us and many other prayer warriors to pray in agreement with us. We know that God is bigger than any disease and that Jesus healed every sickness while on Earth, and commanded his followers to do the same. Please forward to anyone you know who may join us in this prayer.
Trent is 53, very happily married to Michelle for 27 years. They have 4 children aged 11-24, and regularly provide foster care for babies until they find a more permanent home.
Last Saturday, as their family was enjoying time together at their cabin, Trent experienced a brain bleed and was airlifted to undergo emergency surgery to relieve the pressure and stop the bleeding. The surgery was successful and Trent is recovering relatively quickly so far, still improving on issues with his vision and finding the right words. He seems to be a little more talkative than before, and has maintained his humor and infectious smile.
At this time, what would be most helpful to Trent and his family, is for you to pray fervently for healing in Trent’s body and to spread the word so others may also join us. Thank you so much, we are eternally grateful.
