My friends and family can tell you that I've been an incorrigible matchmaker, helping couples meet (and break up) for over two decades. But like many other "marrieds," I was blissfully oblivious to the state of crisis in the modern dating arena. Until, that is, I began working as a recruiter for a national matchmaking firm based in NYC. Each week, I was given target demographics in different cities to find, approach, and vet for the company's matchmaking clients.

That experience launched my exploration of the social crisis spawned by online dating. Burnout. Time-wasting. Outright danger. Increasing disconnection and hostility between genders. The rising costs of marriage and childhood as adults delay until every step requires expensive help.

I began writing and creating content to address the needs I saw/heard daily. I self-funded pro-bono counseling sessions, mitzvah matches, workshops, and a support group... all from the income I made in my day job in construction and contract work for large matchmaking companies.

I am now asking for help to finish my first book, written to help the most vulnerable population in the dating scene. The "Good Girls" refer to women who have held back from wading into dating because they recognize the dangers (emotional and physical) and choose safety first.

Every day, these women are being pressured to make the same mistakes as everyone else - to give themselves away to strangers in hopes that one may finally stick.

"The Good Girls Guide to Getting Out There" helps women who struggle with the challenge of how to get out and meet potential suitors, while remaining safe and true to their values.
