Prologue. Don't tell Thea about this

Hi. I created a fundraiser for Thea Canby. If you know her or even know of her, you probably have been positively affected by her. Or even more lucky if its both.

 

Thea is leaving Georgia for good reasons, and even better than that, to take better care of herself.

Good for her and sad for everyone else except for the people in the place in which she is moving.

 

Part of that good is her goodness. She has worked selflessly with the kids of Our Resilient Community, for the Athens Area Homeless Shelter and donated her time with PFLAG working with the kids there.

What that means is she worked very hard for the benefit of others almost all of the time.

 

Travel, moving, living and living life in this life is expensive for all the wrong reasons and that is not right.

It hits those who work as selflessly as Thea has done and it goes without saying that that is a bloody shame

One of the things I like about Thea is she practices doing the right thing for the right reasons. One of the things that we can do is try to offset some of the wrong.

 

There is a catholic saint named Thea and then there is a woman named Thea who is a saint. Consider a donation part of your bribe to get into heaven if you are worried about that kind of thing.

 

Either way, please donate something for the cause, because Thea deserves it. She has done more than we can give. If there is a good reason to do something, this is it.
