BACKGROUND
Over the past weeks, Guam has experienced major lifestyle changes due to COVID-19, from abrupt cancellations of work/schools to rush purchases of food and supplies. While many of us have the affordability to stay at home, unfortunately, there exist a large number who have to make daily sacrifices to make ends meet-- such as our frontliners and families facing extreme poverty. And this is where YOUR HELP comes in. The more we can donate, the more days we can sustain the project.
PURPOSE
This is a crowd funding project for our local community on Guam who are heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. And through your generosity, you can provide for the purchases of supplies like masks, disinfectants, PPEs and food.
Our current beneficiaries include:
1. Guam Memorial Hospital
-Funds gathered will be donated to assist our local doctors, nurses, and GMH staff.
2. Harvest House Guam
-Donated funds will be utilized to assist the purchases of foster kids' food and supplies.
3. St. Dominic's Senior Home
-Donated funds will be utilized to assist St. Dominic's seniors, staff, and volunteers.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All gathered monetary donations from you will be allotted solely to the listed beneficiaries. Donations and funding breakdown will be posted at all times for transparency. For the safety of everyone , only e-wallet transactions are being accepted.
By making a donation to this campaign, you understand that your donation is going towards the beneficiaries listed above. You understand that your gift to The Wonder Kid Project becomes property of The Wonder Kid Project and that The Wonder Kid Project has ultimate control, authority, and discretion with regard to its assets. Beneficiary donation breakdown may change depending on the number of families and/or organizations seeking assistance. You understand all changes, donations, funding, and transactions will remain transparent at all times.

WHO WE ARE: THE WONDER KID PROJECT TEAM
The Wonder Kid Project Team is a collective of six undergraduate students on Guam and the US mainland working towards serving our local island community during vulnerable situations.
With COVID-19 taking a large toll on Guam's healthcare system and affecting the lives of many, the team has figured that this would be a great, first start-up project in getting our mission towards helping our island community.

1. How will the funds be split between each beneficiary?
After all donations have been collected, funds will first be allocated to families who sought for financial assistance. Once that is settled and agreed upon by the team, the remainder of the donations will be divided equally amongst the rest of the listed organizations.
Example:
Total Donations Collected: $2000.00
Families seeking for assistance: 4
Donation to Families: $400.00 ($100.00 per family)
Remaining Beneficiaries: 3
Donation to Organizations: $1,600.00 ($533.33 per org)
2. Why is the listed beneficiary in the Donation Page under the Wonder Kid Project Team member, GenaraAnjulie Montevirgen?
To manage incoming funds properly, all donations will first go through our team member's account. Once achieved, we then proceed with organizing the funds and separating them for online transfer to each beneficiary listed. For transparency, ALL receipts, transactions, and other actions will be made public through our updates tab.
3. Does The Wonder Kid Project Team take any portion of the proceeds obtained from this crowd-funding?
No! The Wonder Kid Project Team does not take any portion of the proceeds from this crowd-funding. ALL of your donations will solely reach the organizations and families listed under beneficiaries.
4. Will I, the donor, get notifications regarding updates on the donations?
Yes! The Wonder Kid Project Team will post updates daily regarding the following:
a. thank you messages to the donors
b. receipts and transactions
c. communication with the beneficiaries
