The Winwoods Go To Harvest School!

Backstory

For the last year or so, we’ve been on a really exciting, at times terrifying, but mostly really fun journey looking into missions as a family! It has been challenging, and we have taken a lot of time to seek counsel, and ask some really important questions as we look into this together.

Following us doing an online school with Iris Global last year, Ben has since headed out on a few short term missions trips. You can read more about this on our facebook post.

And as a family we feel God leading us to do the Harvest School with Iris Global in the Middle East starting in October for two months, which is really exciting and scary at the same time! The whole thing is a big fat journey of trust, but we’re believing God is going before us to prepare the way (and will provide the finances needed to go!)

We’ve been dreaming about doing Harvest School with Iris Global for many years. In this current season we feel a real purpose and momentum to invest our time and resources into having the training that the Iris Global team can provide. We don’t know where God is taking us, but we have learnt to follow Him. All we know is there is a fire that is burning in our hearts for missions.

Breakdown Of Costs

We realise this is a large amount of money! For our side, our personal investment has been the non refundable deposit of £1K to secure our places at the school, and we are actively trying to sell some of our possessions in order to fun a portion of this. Here’s a break down of the costs in GBP:
